Objectives: (a). to engage in scientific (psychoanalytic, psychological, medical) and social research into adolescence in general, and particular with reference to the factors which cause or contribute to psychopathology during adolescence (b). to promote and assist such research by others (c). to obtain and assist others in obtaining scientific and medical data concerning normal and psychologically abnormal development and behaviour during adolescence (d). to treat or assist in the treatment of young people presenting mental, emotional and psychological difficulties or disorders (e). to publish studies of such research as aforesaid whether such research was undertaken by the Company or by others (f). to organise seminars and conferences for professional and other persons whose vocation is concerned with or connected with adolescents (g). to disseminate knowledge of adolescence and the results of research into adolescence and related matters (h). to provide services to young people in the areas of Health (such as Mental Health, Sexual Health, Drugs and Alcohol) and in other areas relevant to young persons (i). to promote Mental Health, Health in general as well as Welfare to young people in schools, youth clubs, voluntary and statutory organisations and others (j). to establish and maintain hostels and other facilities and services for the care and treatment of young people presenting mental, emotional and psychological difficulties or disorders (k). to establish and maintain a library for the purpose of facilitating research into adolescence and related matters
