The principal activity of the Charity is to promote the advance of the Islamic religion by all or any of the following means. - Providing and maintaining Mosques and religious centers for the worship of the Islamic religion. - Teaching and educating young members of the Islamic community in the doctrine and practices of the Islamic religion and Jurisprudence.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) To Advance The Islamic Religion Mainly But Not Exclusively By:a. Providing And Maintaining Mosques And Religious Centres For The Worship Of The Islamic Religion;b. Teaching And Educating Young Members Of The Muslim Community (the Shi'a Faith In Particular) And Others In The Doctrines And Practices Of The Islamic Religion; And(2) To Advance The Education Of The Public In A Manner Consistent With The Principles Of The Islamic Religion Including But Not Exclusively By Providing Schools For The Education Of Members Of The Muslim Community And Others;(3) The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty Or Financial Hardship Anywhere In The World In A Manner Consistent With The Principles Of The Islamic Religion By Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Education, Training Or Healthcare Projects.
