We provide a facility for the use of groups for sport and social events. We also provide and plant flowers around the village. We also provide and install a christmas display of lights and figures. The maintenance, improvements and running costs of the village hall are funded by small donations and hall hire fees.

Objectives: The objects of the Association are, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Portknockie without distinction of age, gender or of political, religious or other opinions, to advance the education and to provide, or assist in the provision of, facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreational or other leisure-time occupation in an effort to improve the said inhabitants conditions of life.
