Objectives: (a) The advancement of environmental protection and improvement: (i) Repairing, restoring and preserving ecosystems and returning them to good health (that is, rewilding), for the benefit of the environment, biodiversity and local communities. (b) The advancement of education: (i) Promoting knowledge, skills and understanding of rewilding, including of the processes, purposes and benefits of ecosystem restoration and preservation to beneficiaries: - which may be taken back to their own communities and families. or - which may be useful in career development. (c) The advancement of citizenship or community development (including regeneration): (i) Promoting an understanding of the social benefits of rewilding. (ii) Seeking to improve the mental and physical health of stakeholders by engaging them in the rewilding process. (iii) Developing community gardens and spaces, promoting knowledge and skills development in sustainability and seeking to enhance mental and physical wellbeing. (d) The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science: (i) Preserving the natural and anthropological history of the Deer Park, Selkirk and other local sites. (ii) Promoting knowledge and understanding of this history through impactful interpretation and other means for stakeholders and local communities.
