Biggar Youth Project exists to support and empower young people across Biggar and Clydesdale. Young people shape our direction, influence our decisions, and remain at the centre of everything we do. Today’s young people face pressures that can leave them feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to turn, and BYP provides a safe, welcoming space where they can connect, talk, relax, and be themselves. Our youth-led approach ensures our activities, support, and environment reflect their real needs and experiences. We work closely with families, schools, and the wider community to build understanding and reduce stigma, creating a culture where young people feel valued and heard. We listen carefully to their voices, see gaps in support, and advocate for what they need. As a growing organisation, we remain flexible, responsive, and committed to continuous improvement. With community support, we aim to expand opportunities, strengthen wellbeing, and ensure every young person feels they belong.
