Our main activities are as follows: • Delivery of shopping and prescriptions. • Social History Project – local stories from residents re their experience during lockdown. • Provision and delivery of hot meals. • Listening Ear service. • Christmas Lunches. • Winter resilience – clearing ice and snow and gritting. • Partnership with “Getting Better Together - Shotts” to provide hospital transport.

Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: (g) the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture, or science (n) the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage And in furtherance of these purposes the organisation?s objects are Plan and take action on behalf of our community Respond quickly and flexibly to the needs of the community as they arise Identify people who are vulnerable by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage and develop ways to support them Promote healthy living and good mental health amongst residents of the town Be a reliable source of information for the community about matters that have an impact on it, using social media, a website, newsletters, and any other communication channels considered appropriate Develop and carry out plans to promote community resilience which encourage speed of response, and calm, rational responses, liaising with other community groups as appropriate To work in partnership with other organisations in the town
