Our aim is to work with others in the Highlands to shape a better food system for consumers, those working in the system and for the environment. We share best practice, research interesting developments, and assist those organisations sharing our aims.

Objectives: 4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of education in relation to food production and distribution in the Highlands of Scotland, and the impact of that on the environment. 4.2 The advancement of the health of the people of the Highlands of Scotland by encouraging and implementing good practice in the use of food and growing to improve health outcomes. 4.3 The advancement of citizenship and community development through building and maintaining partnerships between community groups, voluntary organisations and public sector bodies that contribute to food resilience in the Highlands of Scotland. 4.4 The advancement of environmental protection and improvement by increasing awareness of the environmental impacts of food growing, processing and distribution, and exploring ways to reduce food waste, in the Highlands of Scotland.
