We aim to help people in our area take action to minimise the impact of climate change and resource depletion, in ways that enhance their wellbeing. Examples are running community markets, encouraging vegetable growing with seed potato sales and seed swaps, and running repair cafes.

Objectives: (a) to raise awareness ofthe issues associated with the twin challenges ofPeak Oil and Climate Change and the consequent need to develop a low carbon, sustainable future through ethical, social, cultural, economic, environmental and community action. (b) to promote, encourage and support the development of education and research concerning areas affected by resource depletion. (c) to support and encourage local action on Peak. Oil and Climate Change.
