Objectives: 2.1 The Company's charitable objects and purposes are to promote and advance health and social wellbeing through: (a) the provision of research and development services in the field of public health, as described in Paragraph 4(1)(a)(ii) of The Public Health Scotland Order 2019. (b) the collection, dissemination and analysis of epidemiological data and the participation in epidemiological investigations as described in Paragraph 4(1)(a)(iii) of The Public Health Scotland Order 2019. (c) the provision of information services in support of the general functions of Public Health Scotland, as described in Paragraph 4(1)(c) of The Public Health Scotland Order 2019. (d) conducting, or assisting any person to conduct, research into any matters relating to the causation, prevention, diagnosis or treatment of illness, or into other matters relating to the health service, as described in Paragraph 4(2)(e) of The Public Health Scotland Order 2019. and (e) undertaking activities and providing services to promote the improvement of the physical and mental health of the people of Scotland as described in Section 2A of The National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978.
