The charity was established to advance education, culture, equality and racial harmony within African and Caribbean communities across Scotland. We promote awareness of racism, mental health and LGBTQ+ inclusion, reduce stigma, and support access to professional mental health services. We celebrate African and Caribbean culture and heritage through exhibitions, festivals and community events that are open and inclusive. We create safe spaces for dialogue that strengthen cohesion between African, Caribbean and wider Scottish communities. We represent and support all members of the community, promoting equality, diversity and inclusion regardless of age, gender, sexuality, religion, ability or background.

Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The Advancement of Education To promote awareness of and educate on issues pertaining to racism, mental health, and LGBTQ+ inclusion, within Scottish African and Caribbean communities and support access to professional mental health services amongst the communities and work to erode stigmas surrounding these issues. 4.2 The Advancement of Culture and Heritage To celebrate African and Caribbean Cultures and Heritage in an inclusive space for the whole Scottish community. 4.3 The Promotion of Racial Harmony To create a safe and inclusive spaces and foster environments for conversations that strengthen cultural understanding and create better cohesion between members of the African and Caribbean other members of the Scottish population. 4.4 The Promotion of Equality and Diversity To represent, support, and promote the rights of all members of the African and Caribbean community regardless of age, gender, sexuality, religion, ability, or other characteristics.
