Aug 2024 TRUSTEES, ANNUAL RF.PORT STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT Governing Document Arbroath RMVCC is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). the charity was regist¢r¢d nd in its current legal status from 2 of August 2021. Arbroath RMVCC SCIO hav¢ a constitution in place for the rluming of the charity wllich states the purposes and athninistration. Appoinlment of Trnjtees At each Annual General Meeting (AGM). the m¢mb¢rs may ¢le¢t any m¢mb¢r to k a charity trustee, th¢ committee may al any time appoint any member to be a charity trustee. At the AGM, one third of the charity truslees elected/appointed shall retire from office: the question of which of them is to retire shall be deterniined by some random method at each AGM. A charity trustee who has served on the committee for a period of 3 years shall automatically vacate office on expiry of that 3-year period but will be eligible for re-election. The charity trustee must elect (from among themselves) a chair, a vice chair, a tr¢&8urer. and a secretary. The maximum number of charity trustees is 3, the minimum number of trustees is 3. In furth¢ran¢¢ of this purpose out aim is to: Provide advancement of uCatiOn. for thos¢ aged 9-17 in Angus and the SuOund1ng areas Provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities, for those 9-17 in Angus and the sum)unding areas Advancement of citizenship, community developmenL in Angus and the surrounding areas In so doing, the organisation commits to tr¢at all members with fairness and respect and undertakes to provide equality of opportunity. The cadets had excursions including summer camps, Edinburgh and other trips. FINANCIAL REVIEW Overview The results for the period are set out in the attached accounts. The totaE income for the year was £4,110 (2023 £5.45D. The total expenditure was £5.154(2023 £6:805). The results show a deficit of £1,044(2023 deficit £1,348). Leaving unrestricted funds of £6.340(2023 £7 J84).
