STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governing Document
Arbroath RMVCC is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). the charity was regist¢r¢d
nd
in its current legal status from 2 of August 2021. Arbroath RMVCC SCIO hav¢ a constitution in place
for the rluming of the charity wllich states the purposes and athninistration.
Appoinlment of Trnjtees
At each Annual General Meeting (AGM). the m¢mb¢rs may ¢le¢t any m¢mb¢r to k a charity trustee, th¢
committee may al any time appoint any member to be a charity trustee. At the AGM, one third of the
charity truslees elected/appointed shall retire from office: the question of which of them is to retire shall
be deterniined by some random method at each AGM. A charity trustee who has served on the committee
for a period of 3 years shall automatically vacate office on expiry of that 3-year period but will be eligible
for re-election.
The charity trustee must elect (from among themselves) a chair, a vice chair, a tr¢&8urer. and a secretary.
The maximum number of charity trustees is 3, the minimum number of trustees is 3.
Organisation Structure
The structure of the organisation consists of:

OWECTIVES & A￿1VITIEs
The purpose of the organisation is the provision of ojucational and recreational facilities with the object
of improving the conditions of life for the person for whom the activities are primarily int¢nd¢d. In
furth¢ran¢¢ of this purpose out aim is to:
Provide advancement of ￿uCatiOn. for thos¢ aged 9-17 in Angus and the Su￿Ound1ng areas
Provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities, for those 9-17 in
Angus and the sum)unding areas
Advancement of citizenship, community developmenL in Angus and the surrounding areas
In so doing, the organisation commits to tr¢at all members with fairness and respect and undertakes to
provide equality of opportunity.

ACHIEVEMEIYTS & PERFORMANCE
The cadets meet on a regular basis and have activities and lesson plans where leaders guide them in the
right direction this is fuTh educational and great learning for the individuals involved.
The cadets had excursions including summer camps, Edinburgh and other trips.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Overview
The results for the period are set out in the attached accounts. The totaE income for the year was £4,110
(2023 £5.45D. The total expenditure was £5.154(2023 £6:805). The results show a deficit of
£1,044(2023 deficit £1,348). Leaving unrestricted funds of £6.340(2023 £7 J84).

I report on the accounts of the ch￿lty for the period I" September 2023 to 31. August 2024 which are
set out on pages 6-10.
Respeetive responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
The charity's Trustces are responsibl¢ for th¢ p￿ParatIon of th¢ accounts in accordan¢¢ with thc t¢rJns of
the Charilies and Truslees Inveslment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charilies Accounts (Scotland)
Regulalions 2006. The charity Trustees consider that the audit requirernent of the Regulation l(¥ l) (d) of
the Accounts Regulations does not apply.
It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 4411) (c) of the Act to state
whether particular matt¢TS have come to my attention.
Basis of IDdependent Examiner's StateTheDt
My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation I l of the Charities Accounts (Scotland}
Regulalions 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes constderation of any unusual
items or disclosures in the accounts, and sccks cxplanations from the Trust(Ys conccrning any such
matlers. The proLedures undertaken do not pruvide aLI evidence thdt would be requirvd in audiL
and consequently I do not express and audit opinion on the view given b). the accounts.

have not been met: _ To keep accountitvd records in accordance with Section44 (1) (a) or the 2005 Act and
Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulalions, and - To prepare accounts with accord with the
accounting record and comply with Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations.
