Trustee recruitment and appointment nla Achievements and performance Now in our third year, Edinburgh Jam Group with support from an increased team of volunteers and support has been able to build on the growth in 202212023 and expand the scope and reach of our impact in the community. Highlights include.. Our annual jam camp event took place in the Borders at Tweedsmuir, tied in closely with the Tweedsmuir Community Association and running in concert with their annual weekend event. The Jam Camp was a brilliant success, providing performance opportunities for up and coming bands and artists and providing opportunities for people of all ages with an interest in music to network, gain confidence, access resources and build lasting associations and friendships. We have delivered one large showcase event in the town centre of Edinburgh so far with another one in the pipeline for 2024. This event was very well attended and provided a higher profile springboard for the bands and artists who were involved in the event... it also senies to inspire other bands and artists and encourage them to build their Confiden￿ and ambition with a view to taking the next steps in their musical journeys. Our ongoing roster of Jam-type events has expanded to include an intermediateladvanced style jam event as an addition to our steadfast "Open Jam" The Edinburgh Jam Group jam events continue to serve as a vital opportunity for people of all abilities, backgrounds, ages and ambitions to get into a supportive environment where they can explore and share their passion for music, developing themselves in the process and building confidence, contacts and skills for the future. Our reputation for mentoring and supporting projects which are brought and led by members of the EJG community including the under 18s band project has continued to reach a wider audience and has led to a marked uptick in the amount of

contact we are receiving with proposals for projects and requests for support. We have built more partnerships with music tuition, recording, and instrument care providers, helping them to reach a wider audience and in the process helped our community and users access high quality resources who can provide the help they need. We have continued to maintain, develop and upgrade the Edinburgh Jam Group studio which has serves as a high quality facility for hundreds of hours of instrument tuition for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
