LIVING HOPE (Skye and Lochalsh) offers support to people from Skye and Lochalsh by providing one-to-one mentoring and recovery group work for people affected by alcohol and substance use. The charity is also involved in providing information, preventative in purpose, to young people. Support is available for individuals at varying levels of substance use from those in crisis to those well on the road to full recovery. There is also support for family members struggling with supporting someone with related issues. A drop-in cafe provides a comfortable place for meeting individuals.

Objectives: 4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 'The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.' - Charitable purpose 'n' under section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005. 4.2 The purpose of the Charity is to offer help to people with life-controlling alcohol and/or substance misuse, and support them through related issues such as poor mental health, relationship breakdown and homelessness. and to offer help and support to their family members where appropriate. 4.3 This is to be achieved by various means including, as appropriate, i. individual one-to-one support, ii. group work, iii. drop-ins, iv. an opportunity for participation in communal Christian worship, v. To promote and encourage co-operation and networking with other similar organisations. 4.4 And to do all things as will properly attain the above purposes.
