The organisation’s purposes are to provide school pupils with opportunities to develop a range of life and decision making skills through participation in a range of Malawi focused projects. Secondly to undertake fund-raising in support of charitable activities in Malawi focused on education, health and well-being, sports and culture and the environment and finally to contribute to the wider social, government and policy links between Scotland and Malawi by encouraging participation in Malawi focused networks/activities and linking with other similarly focused organisations

Objectives: The overall purpose of the Watson's Malawi Partnership is to relieve and prevent poverty amongst young people in Malawi and their communities. In order to do so the charity focuses on 4 distinct areas, which include work in both Scotland and Malawi, leading to the: 4.1 The advancement of education for young people and teachers in relation to the global issues identified in the Sustainable Development Goals 4.2 The advancement of health and wellbeing for all 4.3 The advancement of public participation in sport 4.4 The advancement of environmental protection and improvement in relation to our activities 4.5 The alleviation of poverty or hardship in extreme circumstances
