Charitable purposes

The initiative aims to alleviate poverty in Aberdeen, Scotland, and in specific areas of Sierra Leone, including Freetown, Mango Farm Community, Waterloo Peninsula, and nearby regions, by providing hot meals and water. Additionally, it seeks to enhance education by offering training to young men and women in these communities, equipping them with skills for sustainable income and self-sufficiency.

The program also focuses on supporting individuals facing financial hardship and those with physical disabilities, such as civil war victims and amputees, by offering start-up and growth business loans. This support is intended to help them become self-reliant and improve their quality of life and well-being.

2

Summary of
the main
activities in relation to
these objects
1. Provide relief to individuals experiencing poverty in Aberdeen,
Scotland, as well as in specific areas of Sierra Leone, including Freetown,
Mango Farm Community, and the Waterloo Peninsula. This will be
achieved primarily, though not exclusively, through the provision of
food, clothing, shoes, education, and other resources that they may not
otherwise be able to afford.
2. Alleviate financial hardship for those who are physically disabled by
offering targeted support and resources to improve their quality of life
and promote self-sufficiency.

APPENDIX 1

Achievements and performance Summary of the main 1. Chairperson’s Statement achievements of the charity As we reflect on 2025, I am proud to report on a year of transformative during the financial period growth. This year was marked by a successful strategic transition, moving our primary focus toward sustainable resource distribution— providing the "tools for life" through essential clothing, footwear, and educational materials. Our impact this year was centered on the most vulnerable. By reaching over 650 physically challenged individuals and their children across the Pademba Road and Waterloo camps, we have proven that our model is both scalable and essential. I extend my gratitude to our supporters for making this milestone 5th Anniversary year our most impactful yet. 2. Achievements and Performance: 2025 Review In 2025, the charity successfully evolved its operational model, moving beyond temporary relief to provide lasting resources that foster dignity and education. Major Distribution Milestones The Pademba Road Mission (July 2025): We conducted our largest single distribution to date at the Pademba Road Amputee Camp in Central Freetown. We served over 400 physically challenged individuals and their children, providing high-quality clothing and school kits (bags and books) to ensure children were equipped for the academic year. 5th Anniversary Celebration (Waterloo): To mark five years of service, we returned to the Progressive Handicap Camp in Waterloo. We catered to 250 individuals and their families, providing a flagship food distribution to address food insecurity within this specialized community. Year-End Holiday Impact (December 21, 2025) : We concluded the year with a dual food and clothing distribution in Freetown, delivering essential goods one week before Christmas to provide a vital social safety net during the holiday season. 3. Strategic Roadmap: 2026 Vision Our 2026 strategy marks a shift from Resource Distribution to Community Empowerment, focusing on infrastructure and livelihoods.

Objective 1: Infrastructure & Sustainable Livelihoods

We have identified an urgent need at the Waterloo Progressive Handicap Camp. The community operates a Blacksmith and Tailoring Workshop to generate local income and manufacture farming tools. However, severe leaking in the roofs threatens to damage equipment and halt production.

2026 Goal: Secure funding to repair the workshop roofs, protecting income-generating assets and enabling the community to scale the production of local farming tools for sale.

Objective 2: Educational Pipeline

We aim to increase the volume of educational materials by 20%, ensuring that children at our partner camps have the necessary tools to break the cycle of poverty through literacy and education.

Objective 3: Logistical Excellence

We will continue to refine our distribution network to ensure that those with mobility challenges receive aid directly and efficiently, reducing the barriers to access for our most vulnerable beneficiaries .

4. Public Benefit Statement

The Trustees have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by OSCR. Our activities deliver public benefit by relieving poverty, advancing education, and promoting the social inclusion of physically challenged individuals in Sierra Leone through the provision of essential resources and infrastructure support..

Financial review

Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves

Financial Performance & Position

The charity concluded the 2025 financial year with a total cash balance of £175.99 . This closing position is the result of the surplus carried forward from the previous financial year plus current receipts, minus total annual expenditure of £87.99 .

Our expenditure of £87.99 was utilized entirely for core charitable activities, specifically supporting the logistical framework and delivery of our distribution events. The charity operates with zero administrative overhead in the UK, ensuring that all available funds are directed toward our mission in Sierra Leone.

Strategic Sustainability: The "Sunny Asugha" Effect

A pivotal development this year has been the success of our local funding model. Under the leadership of (Duty Chairperson), the charity has achieved a significant milestone in fiscal sustainability:

Local Resource Mobilization: Major distributions—including food and community events—were largely funded by donations generated within Sierra Leone by our local Trustees.

Reduced UK Dependency: This successful local fundraising has allowed the charity to maintain its impact while requiring significantly less capital transfer from the UK for day-to-day relief efforts.

Investment in Future Growth (Website Development)

The charity has earmarked future growth through a website redesign project contracted to a developer in India. While we had hoped for a 2025 launch, the project faced delays due to the lead developer’s health issues. We remain committed to this investment and anticipate the site going live in 2026, which will serve as our primary platform for global donor engagement and international fundraising.

Reserves Policy & 2026 Fundraising Strategy

The current reserve of £175.99 is held to provide organizational stability and a baseline for future mission-critical activities. The Board of Trustees has resolved that these core reserves will not be utilized for the upcoming capital project at the Waterloo Progressive Handicap Camp.

Instead, we are planning a series of dedicated fundraising events in 2026 specifically to obtain the donations required for the:

Repair of the leaking roofs at the Blacksmith and Tailoring workshops.

Protection of vital income-generating tools and machinery.

This approach ensures that we protect the charity's baseline financial health while aggressively pursuing our mission to foster community independence through infrastructure support.

(2) the accounts do not align with these records;

(3) the accounts do not meet the accounting requirements of section 396 of the 2006 Act, except for the requirement to present a true and fair view, which is beyond the scope of an independent examination; or

(4) the accounts have not been prepared following the methods and principles outlined in the Statement of Recommended Practice for accounting and reporting by charities, applicable to those preparing accounts under the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102).

I have no concerns and have not encountered any other matters during the examination that should be highlighted in this report to facilitate a proper understanding of the accounts

C1 Nature and purpose

of funds (may be stated on analysis of funds worksheets)

From the total donations of £250.00 received this year, £50.00 was strategically allocated to our dual-purpose milestone on December 21, 2025: a seasonal feeding and clothing distribution program and our landmark fifth anniversary. While the core funding and supplies were generously mobilized by our local donors and members in Freetown, Sierra Leone, this supplemental support from UK trustees provided the essential bridge to meet our goals. This targeted use of resources reflects our commitment to high-impact fiscal management and the steady advancement of our charitable mission
