Glass is a multi award-winning company that has been engaging Scottish communities in the arts for 20 years. We aim to create more opportunities for people living in Scotland to access the arts through: producing high quality arts projects and events, creating a platform for the voices and stories of individuals, families and communities to be heard and valued. promoting the view that participating in the arts can have a significant impact on the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities. creating opportunities to access the arts and to participate in creative activity with others, offering pathways for those that would ordinarily not engage with cultural programming. The majority of our projects are delivered with families and young people and designed to provide opportunities for community building through which individuals can express themselves. Projects are delivered in a variety of contexts with the main focus on making performance and theatre.

Objectives: The company is set up with entirely charitable purposes and its objects are advancement of the arts and culture, advancement of education and the provision of recreational facilities through: i. Producing high quality original theatre, arts projects and events and creating a platform for the voices, stories and histories of individuals, families and communities to be heard and valued. ii. Create development opportunities for artists, and offer them collaboration with other artists, organisations and the wider community. iii. Facilitating workshops and promoting the view that the participating in the arts can have a significant impact on the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities. and iv. Creating opportunities for individuals, families and communities to access the arts and to participate in creative activity with others, developing strong relationships with audiences and local venues and offering pathways for those that would ordinarily not engage with cultural programming.
