The Linltthgow Head-2-Head Sprint Regatta attracted 24 entries, repeating the innovative fomiat 0fts￿ paddler5 each other. The Linltthgow Marakn had a great field of 39 entries and a number of members were prorrKJted. The Winter Time Trials were slighty disrupted due to adverse weather condttions. wth January cancelled due to the canal freezing and December too windy for safe paddling but several new Personal Bests were achieved in February, March and November.. LKR members ￿mPeted in a wide variety of other ra￿ on flat water, rivers and coastal waters in Scouand and beYc￿. This included the Euro￿an Masters Maralhon Championships in Croatia, British marath￿ and Sprint Championships. Scottish Marathon and Sprint Championships. and descent races C￿ the Spey. Tay. Forth and Nith. "Come & Trf sessions were ￿ld for new Junior and Adult Paddle￿ to er￿QUrage engagement from the communty, attrac￿'ng interest frc￿n across West Lothian and Edinburgh Training and developrrent coaching sessions were held forjunior and adult paddlers, along wth introduction to river skills. a wd14ttended Outdoor First Aid Course and great introductory session for the team at the Park Fa￿ Bistro who keep dub member5 well sustained wth coffee, cake and banter throughout the year. Financial review Brief statement of the charty's policy on resep4es LKR aim lo maintain free reseNes in unrestricted funds at a level which equates to approximatdy three months of unrestricted d)aritable expenditure. The trustees conshler that this level will provide sufficient funds to respond to the membership or to make applications for grants and ensure that running and govemance costs are covered. The trustees consider that a level of three months is sufficient to either find further support or in the event of not being able to do so, to wind up the dub arHI dL$[￿ of its assets. which will cover any outstanding debl at this time. The balance held as unrestn.cted fijnds at 31 December was £11,121.60, all of which are regarded as free reserves. Actual three-month cash payments totalled £2.206.65.
