Activities
'It carries out activities or services itself'
'the advancement of education','the advancement of citizenship or community development'
A Rangers unit supports young women aged 14–18 to develop independence, leadership and confidence through a flexible, empowering programme. It offers opportunities to take on challenges, gain skills, volunteer, explore careers, travel, and work toward awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Queen’s Guide Award, and Leadership Qualification. Rangers choose and shape their own activities, from social action to outdoor adventure, supported by trained volunteers who provide guidance while encouraging autonomy, teamwork and personal growth.
Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people'
Objectives: We have adopted the Girlguiding Royal Charter as the Unit's constitution. The aim of guiding is to promote the education of girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.
