Our aim is remembrance through education. Building the war memorial was the most significant part of that and for that we engage all the local schools and the community. We are in the process of producing a book on WW1 and 2 and about Bainsford during wartime and it will obviously included information on the 226 fallen of Bainsford. Information boards at the memorial is another way we promote remembrance through education. And holding events throughout the year is another way.
