Mary Cameron Foundation supports local organisations across Lanarkshire that fulfil the charity’s purpose such as the advancement of community development, religion, arts, culture, heritage, the provision of recreational facilities with the object of improving the life conditions of those accessing services by reason of ill health, disability, age or financial difficulty. The Charity also supports animal welfare organisations. The Trustees fundraise throughout the year via outreach activity and via holding charity fundraising events then provide donations to organisations fulfilling the charity’s purpose.
Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: c the advancement of religion, f) the advancement of citizenship or community development, g the advancement of arts, heritage, culture or science, (i) the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, the advancement of animal welfare, n the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage (including relief given by the provision of accommodation or care).
