Basis of independent My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Accounts

charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes
consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks
explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken
do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequently, | do
not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts

ROEIID wee mITbrag SIMS FET Mal ff AVNIS AY UN” NEKTNDENS ANT CAOMIAS SIAYWAD SAKE ANT AP GOAT ORAM Throughout the 2024/2025 closed season sawa lot of excellent work carried out at our club. This work was carried out by mainly Board Members. but a iot of assistance was completed by Club Members. As you can see. we have a new shed fo keep our equipment safe and sound A lot of unseen maintenance and upkeep was carried out, and this was mostly led by Stevie Wing and a few of the members and @ big thank you must go to them for the having the Club well prepared for the new season Ss already looking what is required to be done before the opening of the 2026 season starts and | am sure both Board Me as and Club Members will give him any help required Once again, our Finances were kept well under control by our Treasurer[Nt only did he look to find what grants we were able to apply for but negotiated an excellent agreement with WLC on our energy supply and has saved the Club a fare bit of the Clubs funds
Our Opening day for the 2025 season was held on Saturday 12” April and we enjoyed much better weather than 2024, at least there was no rain, and we got it completed before the rain came down. There was a great turn out of members wearing Club shirts and the fiz re rown by our long-time member Ind to complete the perfect start to the season our Lady President with her helpers put on an excellent spread that was greatly appreciated by all the members Our Club and weekend competitions were all completed, but more importantly, were well attended, Our friendly Inter Club competitions against our good friends from, Headweill BC Dunfermline, The Murrays BC East Kilbride and The Railway BC Grangemouth were once again a great success and were enjoyed by all the members who attended both home and away. Our prize giving and social afternoon fook piace on the 1° November and aif present greatly enjoyed themselves. The Trophies and Prizes were presented by our Vice President The main/principa! winners were

The remainder of the club prizes and trophies were presented. Also, our Club Champions went onto the County Champion of Champions and did our club proud, unfortunately we could not repeat the success of the previous season, but it was not given up lightly by our Champions. Thanks must go to all the Watson Memorial members who attended all the finals and supported our Club Champions. This season we saw both our Gents Senior “A” and “B” teams qualifying from their sections with the “A” team reaching the semi-final. Our Senior Gents were also beaten finalists in both the top 6 and the DMW. This truly has been a great season for the senior gents and a big thank you must go to all who participated and supported them
Not to be out done our Ladies must be congratulated on reaching the County Triples Championship where they came runners up
Thanks must go to the Ladies President Nannette Grant and her helpers for once again laying on a superb buffet. Also, our vice President EEE who got the rest of the day on its way by doing his excellent DJ and taking into consideration his music selection to the age profile of all present On Saturday the 13" December, we had our annual Xmas party. This was an excellent day despite late call offs due to several members catching the flue bug that was doing its rounds. Music once again was provided by our Vice PresidenA vote of thanks must go to our Membe EE for providing a great buffet and to the members who assisted him on the day and the members who set the hall up with all the festive decorations.
