Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of public participation in sport','the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended'

We are set up to provide a safe place for our members and people from the community to come and play the sport of bowls. We hold events nearly every weekend which has a small buffet as well so people can enjoy a good day out and have a cup of tea and a sandwich. We extended our use of the building to include a safe area for or junior's to sit and change also using the same area if some of our members just want a peaceful area to have a talk. We not have our presentation day in our club and a Christmas dance which have now started because of our renovations so more of the club can be used ( we got a grant to lower the ceiling which makes the area warmer for us to use ) We still are one of the cheapest club around which helps the community people to play bowls which is affordable . We have a full inclusion members policy as we are open to all plus we allow other charities to use our premises

Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To provide recreational facilities, organised physical bowling activities, a safe place for participants to meet, and opportunities to enhance wellbeing of local citizens 4.2 To promote, provide training and make affordable to all ages, the playing the game of bowls in accordance with the rules of the bowls Scotland
