Objectives: 4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of education 4.2 The advancement of public health In furtherance of the above purposes the EEMGS is established to encourage the study of environmental mutagenesis, genome instability and its impact on health, genetic toxicology, and related phenomena, particularly where these may be of concern to public health, by providing a pan-European forum to bring together individuals and organizations with interests and responsibilities in biomedical and/or environmental research, policy and regulation.
