The charity's core activity is the Christian choir known as Praise Gathering which holds annual June concerts (2) in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and, subject to availability, in The Usher Hall, Edinburgh (1). The annual concerts also feature the Praise Gathering Youth Choir which has around 65 members ranging in age from 8 to 15. Each concert attracts an average audience of 1,650 excluding choir members. The Praise Gathering choir holds 10 weekly rehearsals in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee ahead of the annual concerts Registration for choir members opens each November via the charity's website and attracts an average of 400 singers drawn from approximately 190 churches across West, Central Scotland and Fife. As indicated in the Directors' Report, tickets for the annual concerts are purchased by Praise Gathering and given to guests who are clients of a number of charities operating in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
