We promote the sport of rowing, and enable our members to participate in the sport recreationally and competitively. we give access to rowingas an activity to the general public as well as providing access to the River Clyde to members of the general public.
Objectives: 4 The purpose of the Club shall be to promote the advancement of public participation in the sport of rowing ('the sport') and the provision of facilities to enable its members to participate in that sport. The Club shall also: 4.1 to encourage community participation in rowing within Glasgow, and the surrounding area, and to provide facilities for community participation. 4.2 to provide equal opportunities for successful participation by all sections of the community. 4.3 to promote and maintain the highest standards of technical competency and safety in the sport. 4.4 to be a member of the Governing Body (Scottish Rowing) and operate within their racing framework, and associated governing bodies such as GB Rowing & FISA, and to uphold the rules of the sport.
