GAMH exists for public benefit by promoting the mental health and wellbeing of the people and communities of Greater Glasgow. We achieve this by Creating services and opportunities that assist peple who are recovering from mental health problems or with related needs to live the lives that they want to live. Providing support for Carers including Yound Carers. Promoting Social and Economic Inclusion of people in recovery. Promoting self help and peer support. promoting volunteering. Promoting education and training about mental health, recovery and wellbeing. Challenging stigma and discrimination promoting equality and human rights. Supporting people to maintain secure tenancies and build a sense of home.

Objectives: 4 The company's objects are: 4.1 to support those individuals who experience mental health issues through the provision of a range of services. 4.2 to provide support and assistance to those who care for and support individuals who experience mental health issues. 4.3 to raise awareness of mental health issues and wellbeing through the provision of advice, information and educational services. 4.4 to promote mental health and wellbeing of people and their communities. and 4.5 to promote social justice and reduce health inequality.
