Objectives: The organisation’s aim or purposes are: 4.1 To preserve, conserve, restore and improve the Edzell Woods environment. 4.2 To bring together the residents of Edzell Woods and surrounding areas to unite and better the community we live in, by developing the regeneration of Edzell Woods including the maintenance or improvement of the physical and social infrastructure by supporting the residents of Edzell Woods and the surrounding area who are at a disadvantage because of their social and economic circumstances. 4.3 To promote recreational activities, mutual support and educational opportunities amongst our members. 4.4 To provide in the interests of social welfare facilities for recreation and other leisure time activity to the residents of Edzell Woods and the surrounding area with a view of improving their conditions of life. 4.5 To promote and/or support other schemes and projects with wholly charitable purposes for the benefit of the Community and the public at large.
