To promote the achievements of the arts, heritage and culture:- Through the creation of a programme that is of, by and for the people of Skye Through a programme that whilst international and diverse draws inspiration from the heritage and culture of Skye Through encouraging engagement with multi-disciplinary art forms and artists To promote an increase of recreational activities: _ Through delivering an ambitious, diverse and inclusive programme of activities and events Through a variety of inspiring activities and programming which may take the form of workshops, research and local food. Through engaging and inspiring collaborative communities in the Isle of Skye generate dialogue Through programme that encouraged inclusive conversations To promote the advancement of environmental protection and improvement Through progressive, environmentally focussed programming and learning experiences Through education of communities via a range It is currently being dissolved
Objectives: 4 The organisation?s purposes are: 4.1 To promote the advancement of the arts, heritage, and culture:- i) Through the creation of a programme that is of, by and for the people of Skye ii) Through a programme that whilst international and diverse draws inspiration from the heritage and culture of Skye, including Gaelic iii) Through encouraging engagement with multi-disciplinary art forms and artists 4.2 To promote an increase of recreational activities:- i) Through delivering an ambitious, diverse and inclusive programme of activities and events ii) Through a variety of inspiring activities and programming, which may take the form of films, talks, workshops, research and local food iii) Through engaging and inspiring collaborative communities in the Isle of Skye generate dialogue iv) Through programme that encourages inclusive conversations 4.3 To promote the advancement of environmental protection or improvement:- i) Through progressive, environmentally-focused programming and learning experiences ii) Through the education of communities via a range of participatory activities and events iii) Through building engagement with, and growing a collective responsibility to our environment
