Lucky Ewe is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) established in 2020 with a clear, compassionate purpose: to open doors for people who need a different kind of learning environment — one rooted in nature, practical experience, and patient encouragement. Based at Lucky Ewe Farm near Cupar in North East Fife, the charity provides meaningful, hands-on placements in farming, husbandry of a small flock of dairy sheep, land management, and rural skills for people of all abilities, including those with additional support needs, mental health challenges, learning differences, or social disadvantage. We do this by: Offering real farm placements. Providing patient, person-centred mentoring. Creating a safe, structured environment. Using nature, animals, and community as tools for growth towards further education or employment - with some achieving Saltire Awards, Kings Trust Awards, SCQF qualifications. Celebrating every achievement, no matter how small.

Objectives: The SCIO’s purposes are to benefit the community of Fife including all KY postcodes and DD6, of those people who support the purposes or would benefit from the purposes set out below (‘the Community’). 4.1 The advancement of Education. by fostering and promoting vocational, social, and life skills. Lucky Ewe will provide experiential learning opportunities in land-based food production for people with additional support needs 4.2 The relief of those in need by reason of ill-health, disability, or other disadvantage. Lucky Ewe placements will be open to those with ill-health, disability, or other disadvantage such as care-leavers, history of substance misuse, but only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development
