It wa5 registered as a charity on the 4th of March 2020 and has a single tier structure, meaning the trustees are the charities sole members. Trustee recruitment and appointment | The trustees were those appointed as the charity board of trustees when the organisation was established and thereafter at the charities AGM (annual general meeting) and by way of a resolution passed by the majority of the board vote. There may be a minimum of three and a maximum of eight trustees at any one time. Charitable purposes i The purpose of the charity is to support the community. to advance the provision of a recreational facilities and activities through providing a community venue and a range of recreational activities that allow those in Carstairs Junction to make use of their leisure time. The advancement of health and wellbeing through providing the means | for those in the area to remain socially and mentally active to reduce l isolation and maintain andlor approve their health and wellbeing Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects We will continue with the Activity Café, Knitting Club, Gardening Clubs, Foodbanks along with day trips and events for all families in the community and surrounding areas.
