The aim of the church, which is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Scotland, is to promote an active witness to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The objective of the church is to reach its local community and it seeks to do this by fulfilling its Mission Statement, which is To reach out to all people, to welcome into one family and transform every generation for Christ.

Objectives: The Purposes are the advancement of religion, and in particular the Christian faith, primarily in Ayr and wider Ayrshire, and also throughout Scotland and the rest of the World by all means consistent with: The Christian Bible. and The Declaration of Principle (see appendix). and The Statement of Foundation Values (see appendix). including (without prejudice to the foregoing generality) worship, ministry, mission, witness, prayer, fellowship, networking, education, community service and the provision of activities and facilities for the community, and the relief of poverty and other social needs, including the support of individuals and other charitable organisations and agencies involved in any or all of these
