Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of education','the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science'

Our key aim is to bring high quality chamber music to the people of South Ayrshire. In order to achieve this we engage with both established and emerging musicians from Scotland, elsewhere in the UK, and occasionally further afield. We have done our best to keep concert prices affordable, obtaining funding from charitable providers to support us in doing this. Students and school children attend free. Our 2 concert venues, Alloway Parish Church Hall and the Salvation Army Church which is in the centre of Ayr, are on bus routes, offer free parking and are accessible by wheelchair. No need to drive, or go too far – quality live music is here in South Ayrshire! We want to encourage access to the arts and to chamber music in particular, and afford the opportunity to perform, and receive recompense for that performance, to young musicians finding their way in the world of music and who hope to make a living from it in the future.

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people','Older People','No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

Objectives: To encourage the appreciation of music and the arts, principally by engaging amateur musicians and by the promotion of professional concerts.
