To provide recreational facilities with the object of improving the conditions, social welfare, mental health and life for all adults of all ages in the Mintlaw and surrounding areas. To advance the health of all adults and backgrounds of those living in the same area. Develop the capacirty and skills of adults in this area by providing a meeting place namely 'The Mintlaw and District Men's Shed'
Objectives: 4.1 To provide recreational facilities and advance the social needs and well-being, for adult males aged 18 and over living in Mintlaw and surrounding areas, through creating, developing and maintaining a facility, namely a Men's Shed. 4.2 To support men in need by reason of age, ill health, disability or other disadvantage through reducing social isolation and providing opportunities for men to meet and take part in social, creative, physical, purposeful and recreational activities of their choice. and to develop their capacity to share their skills and knowledge with others in the community 4.2 To support men in need by reason of age, ill health, disability or other disadvantage through reducing social isolation and providing opportunities for men to meet and take part in social, creative, physical, purposeful and recreational activities of their choice. and to develop their capacity to share their skills and knowledge with others in the community.
