The Club Constitution states that a maximum of ten charity trustees will
hold office.
Of these ten, only eight can be elected/appointed at the AGM or by the
Board.

The Perth Bridge Club has the following charitable purposes:
• To provide recreational facilities and to organise recreational activities for
the public at large which relate to the promotion, learning, teaching and
playing of Bridge, in the interests of social welfare with the aim of
improving the conditions of life and mental health for the persons using the
facilities or participating in the activities.
•We also aim to educate players of all standards in the game of Bridge.
and to assist in their development and understanding of the game.
Mission: To provide opportunities for players at all levels from novice to
expert to enjoy the competitive game of Bridge and develop their skills
through learning and participation at a well-equipped facility which offers a
sociable, friendly and welcoming environment.
Vision: to be the club of choice for all Bridge players in Perth and the
surrounding district.
We had 12 students who started our Bridge lessons winter course.
During the winter months we had Bridge Clubs renting our premises for
their weekly sessions.
We ran our third annual Perth Café Bridge day with over 100 participants

A Relaxed Pairs session was continued on Wednesday evenings along
with a host member
Set up and ran the second Fair City Cup – an annual tournament between
the 4 Perth Bridge Clubs
Ran our second Swiss Pairs competition which is open to all Scottish
Bridge players with a full complement of entrants
Launched a Spring and Summer Pairs Monday evening play session

The reserves policy is to maintain a minimum of £20,000.
The year end balance of £27,810 satisfies that policy.
Members continue to volunteer for many tasks to keep the Charity
running. This covers all areas from teaching students, preparing hands for
play and scoring at Club events.
