The Scottish Game Developers Association (SGDA) is the national representative body for Scotland's game development community. It hosts events, convenes studios, supports emerging talent, and advocates for the sector with external and public partners. In 2025, SGDA strengthened its organisational foundations and is now financially supported by 12 corporate members and 11 indie member companies, enabling it to have a General Manager, and a proven track record in event delivery and sector advocacy. This has allowed it to deliver its first dedicated in-person games accelerator with 24 participants as well as providing the logistic support for the very well received DICE Europe Dundee event.
