The group is set up to provide support for those members of the community living with dementia or memory problems by enabling each individual to maintain links with their passion for football, golf, singing or other hobbies. This is achieved by regular monthly meetings and specific events over the course of the year.

Objectives: The aim of Carnoustie Memories shall be to provide support for those members of the community living with dementia or memory problems by enabling each individual to rekindle and maintain links with what has been for them a lifelong passion for either Golf, Football or other pastimes or hobbies. The key aim is to reconnect members with their community of interest, minimise isolation and stigma whilst improving individuals self esteem and physical well being.
