APPENDIX 1 Other optional information It was agreed last year by the Trustees that future efforts would be better put towards transfomiing one of the 11-a-side grass pitches in Neilston into a full size 3G synthetic pitch, which would serve the members of NCSH better that the smaller training area. Thi% aligns wth the plans a 7-a-side pitch being built as part of the new leaming campus in Neilston which is due to be ccmpleted in eady 2025. This project conb'nues to be developed: however. lad( of resources across NCSH mean that it L8 moving relaty.vely slovAy and will be ongoing into next financbal year. NCSH continues to liaise with Easl Renfrewshire Council in relation to uradIng existing facilities. submitting a note of interest for a Communtty Asset Transfer at tx)th Bng O'Lea Stadium and Kingston Plawng Fields. We are currenljy discussing extending the lease agreement at Brig O'Lea and IcKing at a similar arrangement wrth Kingston Playing Fields mowng forward. We are also contsnuing lo discuss fvnding optsons wrth the Scottish Fooltsall AsSOaton. SpcOlland. Neilston Windfam Legacy Group and the Scoth"sh Fcotball Partnership for a new project, as these were our main fvnding partners who had commrtted to ndIng the unsuccess1 project for a new training prtch. All parties have been happy to support our current proposals and we will be locthing to submit ndIng applICatnS aco)rdingly in the coming months. NCSH is also looking to reach out to the wider communty to attract more members dubs and individuals and also to look for potential fvture Trustees and volunteers to assist wrth our actsvities and plans mowng for4vard. An AGM is due to be held shortly and we hoFe to have some interested part5 looking to become a part of the hub. This includes identifying local volunteers to undertake some training in order to deliver walkingljogging groups in the village in the future. There have been some posrtive initial diScussn$ wth local b0ing clubs and golf club to explore Optn9 for membership and we hope to introduce these clubs as new members moving for¢/ard into next year. Discussions have also been held with East Renfrewshire Council Econcffiic Development Department to explore polenb'al fvnding streams that could help NCSH with aspirations of improving local sporting faalities lo enable more capacty for the members of the communty to parbrypate in spcwt & phal actrvty and unlock the beneffts of this in temis of the Sla1 value, physi1 and mental health wellbeing and overall improvements to the lives of the people who live in Neilston.
