The trustees are responslble for the overall strateglc dlrectlon, declsion-makin& and financlal stewardship of the organfsation. Trustees are recrulted through personal recommendatlon and community involvement, with appropriate induction and trainlng provided as needed. The charity operdtes entirely through volunteer effort, with no paid stsff. Regular meetlngs are held throughout the year to review progress, allocate resources, and plan fundraislng and communlty actlvitles. 3. without. In 2024, oiir actlvities included: Collection and distributlon of glfts and care packages across South West Scotland. Supporting 8,072 chlldren and vulnerable adults diirlng Chrlstmas 2024. Establishfing over 70 drop-off polnts In communlties, schools, and businesses. Partlcipatlon in the Kiltsvalk, ralslng funds and awareness for the campaign. Collaboratlon with local organlsatlons, counclls, and volunteers to Increase outreach. Continued partnership with community groups such as schools, churches, and local businesses who acted as referral partners and collection hubs. All activities were delivered by volunteers, with careful coordination to ensure equitable distribution and compliance with safeguardlng and data protection guidellnes. 4. Achievements and Performance (2024) 2024 was one ofour most impactful years to date. Our campalgn provided essentlal Chrlstmas support to more than 8,000 Indlvlduals, a record increase from previous years. - The network of 70+ drop-off polnts signlficantly expanded our reach, allowing us to support families from Ayrshire through to Dumfrles & Galloway. - Communlty engagement grew steadlly across social medfa platforms, particularly through FacebooK helping ralse awareness and recrult new volunteers. - The Kiltwalk and other fundraising activities raised vital funds to purchase gifts, wrappfng supplies, and essential care items. - We strengthened community relationshlps through collaboratlon wlth local counclls, community associations, and businesses who offered premises, donations, and logistical help.
