Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

We provide horse riding sessions to local children in our area who have physical or mental health issues that can benefit from the therapeutic effects of riding and spending time with horses and ponies. We are completely self-funding and have to raise necessary funds to pay for the hire of a stable yard, riding arena and the use of several ponies along with the equipment required to deliver the riding sessions and to train our volunteers so they can attain the required skills and qualifications to carry out our work. We liaise with local schools who usually select the pupils for assessment by us. We do not charge for our services.
