To promote the heritage, culture and arts of the Upper Strathearn area of Perthshire and elsewhere by organising and promoting an annual Festival and ancillary events, providing also a platform for other organisations in the area to organise and promote similar events to be run during the Festival. The activities are primarily intended through guided walks, and other activities and events, and generally to encourage individuals to spend more time outdoors through increased confidence in walking on their own or in groups.

Objectives: 3.1 The Charitable Purposes of the SCIO ('the Charitable Purposes') are: 3.1.1 to promote the heritage, culture and arts of the Upper Strathearn area of Perthshire and elsewhere (?the area?) by organising and promoting an annual Festival and ancillary events, providing also a platform for other organisations in the area to organise and promote similar events to be run during the Festival. 3.1.2 to promote education by the provision of the Festival and such ancillary events. and 3.1.3 to promote well-being and provide recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the purposes for whom the activities are primarily intended through guided walks, biking and other activities and events, and generally to encourage individuals to spend more time outdoors through increased confidence in walking on their own or in groups.
