Greyfriars Club AGM Thursday 8th May 2025 Chairman May Newlands welcomed everyone to the AGM Secretary read out the 2024 minutes and asked if this true record of the last AGM this was agreed and accepted by asa Therewere no matters arisingfromthe lastAGM- andthere had been agood variety of activities on offer after last AGM completed. Treasurer ead out the report on the finances stated that the balance in the bank at this time is £12,364.84. The club had outgoings of £9,441.91 this was for all the activities, outings and partiesl held. This included food suppliedlentertainers booked and the rent for the seof the Town Hall each week up until Dec 2024. Membership will remain at £20 which continues to be a small cost running of the club. Activities planned for the rest of this session still to be paid for is the suknmer Hawaiian partylfood and entertainment. The sponsored walk was just taking place after the AGM, but thanked all the members for their contribution to this. Greyfriars Club AGM 2025 Good evening, everyone and welcome to the Greyfriars club AGM We have had a few changes this year and we are now settled in oui newvenue at t servicem8n's club. eex- I will start by giving you a run down of what we've done over the past year. We startèd back afterthe summer holidays with a welcome disco from Pele. Overthe followi few weeks, we enjoyed music from the Culbiners and had a movie night with Brodie. Greyfriars got talent was a great success and we had fun nights at both our Hallo and Christmas disco's. We finished our last night at the Town Hall with Christmas and a visit from Santa. en arols We started in the New Year in a newvenue here at the Ex-serviceman's and had to change our meetings to fortnightly. Since then. we have had two more gre8t disco Valentines and Easter. We enjoyed a musical bingo night and had fun when Artiqui came to entertain us. We also can't forget the great night we all had watching'shr the Town Hall. at k.at Our next meeting in two weeks is when is coming to sing for us and this wil followed by a photo night where you will get a chance to see all the photos of what have done over the year. be We finish on the 19th June with a Hawaiian disco and look forward to seeingyou all your summer party clothes.
