THE NORTH EAST FIFE CHRISTIAN WORKER SCIO NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2025 Principal Accounting Policies 1.1 Basls ol Accounting These accounts have been prepared on the R8ceipls and Payments basis in accordance with the Charities & Trustee Investment Iscotlandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl RegLJlalions 2006 {as amended). The financial statements are preparad in sterling, which is the functional currency of the charity. 1.2 Nature and purpose of tunds Unrestricted funds are those that May be used al the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of the objects of the charity. The trustees maintain an unrestricted general fund for the day-lo-day running ol the charity. Reslricted funds relatè lo grants received for a specific purpose as sel out in note 3. 1.3 Taxatlon The charity is exempt from tax on income and gains to the extent that these arè applied to its charitable objects. Employees, Trustees and Remuneration The charity had 2 employees during the year12024 - 21. No expenses were paid to or reimbursed to trustees. No remuneration was paid to trustees. The charity received donations of £80012024 - £3001 from trustees during the year.
