For part ot the year we had no workers.. our part-lim8 wDrkers left tor new opportunities in the summer and there followed a period ol 'vacancy' when we had no byorker in place lo rnake new conlacts and lo mobilise our volunteers. The financial statements are preparad in sterling, which is the functional currency of the charity. 1.2 Nature and purpose of tunds Unrestricted funds are those that May be used al the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of the objects of the charity. The trustees maintain an unrestricted general fund for the day-lo-day running ol the charity. Reslricted funds relatè lo grants received for a specific purpose as sel out in note 3. 1.3 Taxatlon The charity is exempt from tax on income and gains to the extent that these arè applied to its charitable objects. Employees, Trustees and Remuneration The charity had 2 employees during the year12024 - 21. No expenses were paid to or reimbursed to trustees. No remuneration was paid to trustees. The charity received donations of £80012024 - £3001 from trustees during the year. A transfer to unrestricted tunds was mada during the year following an agreement with the donor that the funds can be used for the general purposes of the charity.
