The charity is supervised by th& liustees who meat at least annually. The day to day adrninistralion is
carfied out by a managemenl committee that meets every two to three months.

Revlew of the Acllvltle3 and Achlevemnts
Each year K2 laces differént chall8nges and èxperièncas a variety of encoLbrag8m8nts and bl8s5irKJs. This
past year has been no drflerenl.
For part ot the year we had no workers.. our part-lim8 wDrkers left tor new opportunities in the summer
and there followed a period ol 'vacancy' when we had no byorker in place lo rnake new conlacts and lo
mobilise our volunteers.
But rathor than a year of 'ompty space, as *acancy' is d8finod, K2 has known a lime of many
encouragements with new Initiatives coming to fruilon.
r curriculum-focused pr￿]ramme for schools wènt ahead ai Chrislmas and Easter new volunleers
were inVo￿ed in both Festivals. In addilion, 2 Scrfpture UniDn gfOUPS are now running regularfy in 2 Primary
S¢hcols in St Andrews.
The Trustees Tnet 3 limes the course ol the year to review our financial situation and our Saleguardiry
poI￿Y as well as our insuiance cover.
We continue to Seek ways to mak8 our fi'nances s8cure by raising Iho profll8 of the work of K2 in local
ohurches.
We are grateful to our loyal supporters who give so generously to the work ar)J support the work in prayer.

The year commenced with a bala￿e of £42.629. There was a surplus for Ihg year of £8.997 gNiro a bank
balance of £51.626 on 31 March 2025.

Risk assessment is reviewed annually by the Trustees who have assessed the major risks to which the
charity is expos&d, in particular those relating lo the operations and finance5. aTKI, until now, have been
satisfied that systems were in place lo mitigatè the charity's exposure lo major risks.

The charity has a Data Prol*ion Policy and has communicated with its SUFPOrters reoarding holding
records ol names, address8s corbtaGt details.
Reserves PolScy
Unreslricted funds of £51,626 12024 - £41,811) and restricted funds ol £nil {2024 - £8181 were carried
lO￿ard to 8nable the charity to corrtinue ts operations. Th8 truslaes aim to hold al least 3 rnonlhs of
operating expenses in reseNe.

Principal Accounting Policies
1.1 Basls ol Accounting
These accounts have been prepared on the R8ceipls and Payments basis in accordance
with the Charities & Trustee Investment Iscotlandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts
(Scotlandl RegLJlalions 2006 {as amended). The financial statements are preparad in
sterling, which is the functional currency of the charity.
1.2 Nature and purpose of tunds
Unrestricted funds are those that May be used al the discretion of the trustees in
furtherance of the objects of the charity. The trustees maintain an unrestricted general
fund for the day-lo-day running ol the charity.
Reslricted funds relatè lo grants received for a specific purpose as sel out in note 3.
1.3 Taxatlon
The charity is exempt from tax on income and gains to the extent that these arè applied
to its charitable objects.
Employees, Trustees and Remuneration
The charity had 2 employees during the year12024 - 21. No expenses were paid to or
reimbursed to trustees. No remuneration was paid to trustees. The charity received
donations of £80012024 - £3001 from trustees during the year.

Bible Alive.. funds received from St Andrews Baptist Church. A transfer to unrestricted
tunds was mada during the year following an agreement with the donor that the funds
can be used for the general purposes of the charity.
