The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisalion of recreational activittes. with the object of improving Condilions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. Activitles The club runs a Beginnersllntermediate and Sprinter Groups on a Tuesday and Thursday evening. We also run a Kids Group on Monday evenings. During the winter rnonths we train in 8erwickshire High School Gymnasium. Chirnside Chasets Club provides opportunities for all children, young people and adults, their parents, and volunteers to become involved in athletics. The club encourages fun. participation, sportsmanship and the social aspects of sport to anyone inleresled in participaling. Independent Examlnerfs Report For the year ended 31 December 2022 I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2022 set out on pages 2- 5. Respective Responsibilities of trustse and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the temis of the Charities and Trustees Investment (S¢otland} Ad 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scouand) Regulations 20C6. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirements of Regulation 10 (1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44 {1) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of Independent Examinerfs Ststemènt My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charrties Accounts (Scolland) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of Ihe accounting records kept by the charty and a comparison of the accounts presented with these records. It also includes consKleration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from trustees Con￿rning any such matters. the prO￿dureS undertaken do not provKle all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
