Inverclyde-based disabled sailing charity providing individuals with a disability, their carers and family members with access to an adapted sailing yacht. The charity is managed by trustees and our activities (including the project which is the subject of this application) are delivered by a combination of volunteers and sessional staff.
Objectives: 5.1. The SCIO?s purposes are: 5.1.1. the advancement of public participation in sport. 5.1.2. the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. and 5.1.3. the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
