Following the closure of the coffee shop by Ihe charity subsidiary company ICAF4E CICI. altemats.ve options for similar operations were explored but have not yet come to fruth"on. Athough the decision was taken to dissolve the activits.es of the subsidiary company and remit the remaining funds to the chanty. the dissolubon has not yet been completed but the chartty has already recewed the substsntial part of the fvnds previously generated by the company. The trustees are conbnuing to explore fvrther opportunities to expand ils activities within the local communty around the Aberdeen area.
APPENDIX 1 Financial review Brief statement of the charity'$ policy on reserves It is the policy of the MisOnal Communty to fund activity from ongoing revenue rather than to atxumulate reserves. The current reserves of £44.039 are a resull of a signifit donations from the subsidiary a)mpany followiro closure of the c(fiee shop actniity. The trustees will consider the TllOSt suitable use of Ihese funés when the charity is wound in the near ftrture. Details of any deficit There were no deficits on knds at the end of the peTÉOd. The charity is fully financially viable on the basis of curient cash funds held of £44,539 at the end of the financial year.
