Objectives: 4 The SCIO's purpose is to benefit the community of Dunbar and East Linton Electoral Ward ('the Community') with the following objects: 4.1 Provision of locally-accessible support and training to disadvantaged people, with a view to improving their life chances, in particular (where appropriate) through support into employment 4.2 Provision of support and empowerment to those struggling to access adequate life skills. This includes accessing cooking healthy food and benefiting from community gardening. 4.3 Restoring derelict or dilapidated land and buildings for uses which benefit the community and to deliver training in traditional construction skills.
