The primary purpose of Kirklandpark After School Club (KASC) is to supply a before and after school childcare service for pupils who attend Kirklandpark Primary School in Strathaven, South Lanarkshire.

Objectives: 4.1 To promote the care and education of children of school age in the Strathaven area who are in need of care during out of school hours and to provide, or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving their conditions of life and in furtherance thereof but not otherwise. 4.2 To provide after school care and educational and recreational activities. 4.3 To relieve any excess pressure placed on working parents in relation to child care, pre and after school hours, and provide a quality service to ensure children well looked after, in a stimulating and nurturing environment.
