Achievements and performance

| The popular afternoon teas were served in the hall and |

| village green over the summer, and the recent pub night | |
| was well received. The monthly book club has continued | |
| throughout the summer, and over the coming weeks we will | |
| be holding more fireside talks - aimed at smaller groups, | |
| and a music event is planned for later in the month. | |
| The committee has been proactive in making small |
|
| improvements, and the hall has just had the internal |
|
| paintwork repainted. There are plans to do the external |
|
| work next spring in better weather. | |
| Redpath Village Hall association achieved a surplus on the | |
| unrestricted fund for the year of £95 (2024 - surplus of | |
| £929). | |
| At the year end the charity had total funds of£13,913 (2024 | |
| - £13,818) of which £7,983 (2024 - £7,698) was held in |
|
| unrestricted funds, £930 (2024 - £1,120) was held in a |
|
| designated fund and £5,000 (2024 - £5,000) in the |
|
| restricted property fund. |

Respective responsibilities of} The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in trustees and examinerjaccordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
